THE ANNUAL FOX TERRIER FUN DAY

Yes, it was that time of the year again! When all the fox terrier fans come together for much frivolity. It was a beautifully hot and sunny day - there were over 40 dogs and countless owners!

Both Smooth and Wire Fox Terriers came in numbers - and mixed wonderfully - minus a few arguments in the ring! But you know Fox Terriers - they like to let everyone know they are the best. There were many categories and much fun was had by all. The fancy dress competition brought out the creative side of owners - a little witch won in the end - she looked like a witch but was all angel.

The fun day raised much needed funds for the rescue and also gave everyone a chance to see the rescues first hand. One lucky rescue found a new home that day and will be on her way to a happy new life. Maybe she will be back to compete in next years Best Rescue Competition?

As per normal - the raffle prizes were numerous and everyone came away with something fun. Although my prize was gone the next evening - how did they know I like Red Wine? There was on site grooming, vendors and the much loved Barbecue!

A great deal of thanks to all those that organised the event and made it such a special gathering - and a big thank you to all who came and participated.
